Yep you bet. The Toronto Maple Leaf affiliate team (Marlies) in the AHL is going to the Calder cup final to face Norfolk (where ever that is). It was my first time at a Marlie game and it was great. I can't believe it took me this long to drag my ass to a Marlie game. Unfortunately Kadri wasn't dressed but Jake Gardiner, Scrivens and a few others I wanted to see were playing.
Also seeing a future star Pjaarvvi ()not sure on the spelling was a treat to see. Good luck to the Marlies in the final. Will be booking tickets soon for the final and next season as well. Let's go Marlies!!!!
This is my hockey card blog. Here I will post the videos of the pack of cards as I open them. Exciting stuff I know, but calm down there is more to come. You can watch the show @ http://www.youtube.com/HockeyCardShow

I think Jeremy and Mike hate each other
I don't think Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick like each other very much. Here, Mike and Jeremy dissagree on the possible avoidance of a Mike Brown hit in game 5 between the Kings and the Coyotes.
Ah shut up... |
Earlier on this year Mike and Jeremy were at it again. Only this time Jeremy walks off the set. Ya Mike sometimes seems like a douche.
I`m outta here... |

Wana play hockey in Qatar?
Found this floating around the inter-webs. It's a gorgeous ice rink in the hockey hot bed country of Qatar. Okay maybe not a hotbed more like a frozen match stick. Anyway it looks beautiful and I'd love to shoot some pucks in the desert. Sure beats the hell out of the ghetto rink I play shinny at.

Devilish Scorpion Save
Wow this is just insane. Game 2 between the Devils and Rangers Martin Brodeur at 40 sprawls out for a poke check only to find that the shooter raised the puck. It would have gone in except as you see Marty kicked out that shit. What's even more impressive, he meant to do it. The only other time I can remember a save like this in recent memory was in the 2002 Olympic gold medal game between Canada and the USA. Where the American goalie who I believe was Mike Richter on his back stopped the puck with his ankle behind his head. Can't find that image but when it happened I was floored. Any hoo awesome save, oh and here is a Marty rookie card for good measure.

Oooo Shiny!
Got really excited when I opened up these holographic stickers of Wayne Gretzky from a pack of Upper Deck 1990-91 cards (Episode coming soon). Only to realize they are not worth anything...or at least not much. However times like this being a hockey card collecting noob it gives you a little jolt of excitement.

Hey Crosby and Ovechkin, get out of there.
Just ordered these off of eBay + a hobby box version. Sidney and Alex are you in there? Nah I doubt it too. Stay tuned should be a fun hunting trip regardless.

Hockey Card Show Episode #1 Upper Deck 90-91
Finally got my hat and the first episode is done. In the next 10 videos I'll be ripping up some hockey card packs I got at the sports memorabilia store. 6 Upper Decks from 1990-91 and O-Pee-Chee from the same year. I thought it would be a good thing to film.....I thought.
